I am here for Friends

About Me

"O misery you live
I have been struck and am suffering
O misery you live
You take bread from hands
that hold so little
And show treason to a faithful heart
There is no healing balm of reason
O wretchedness, o misery
Fall upon mercy
Set thy Alter here
Lifeless life cradles lifeless death
Set thy alter here
Fall Upon Mercy
O wretchedness O misery
O Misery you live
I have been struck and am suffering
O Misery you live
O misery you live in death
Exaudi orationem (meam)
Quantus tremor est furturus
Exaudi orationem (meam)
The hour is at, parting is at hand
the hour is at hand
The Hour is at, parting is at..."
LIFE AS YOU NEVER KNEW IT.

I hope to become an artist; to go to college and get some sort of degree in some sort of art. But I don't know what yet. Until then, sate your thirst with some of my favorite artists:
Gris Grimly
Salvador Dali
Edward Gorey
James Christiansen
Amy Brown
John Howe
Voltaire

My Interests

Art, music, literature, history, fashion, ancient cultures, mythology/folk tales, nature, surrealism, animal liberation, fantasy/sci-fi, graphic design, languages, architecture, BRYAN![grunts], film, the macabre-zombies, werewolves, vamps, etc.- worlds of inside jokes.

I'd like to meet:

The artists, the flawed characters, the consumed, the rebels, the dregs of the social pyramid, the writers, the musicians, the people looking for something more, the darkly humorous [or lamely humorous], people who constantly surprise you [for the better], the educated, the imaginative, the antiheroes, the mourning, the beautiful, the exiles.

Music:

Classical; especially Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This would also include composers for movie soundtracks such as three of my personal favorites: Howard Shore, Tyler Bates and Hans Zimmer. Then comes rock; many genres: old-school punk, newer punk, oi!, alternative, cello, old-school goth, 80's, progressive, garage, classic, grunge. Rock then divides into the metal catagory: black, doom, speed, gore, folk, thrash, power, viking, heavy, goth. Other genres include industrial, techno, trip-hop, folk, ambient, experimental, musicals, opera, cabaret [especially punk cabaret], world music[I currently have an obsession with Middle Eastern music], neo-victorian, a'cappella, trance, tango. I have yet to hear a Finnish band I haven't liked, so if it's from Finland, chances are I like it.

Thankful.

I know I'm a fortunate person; most of the world doesn't live like we do. It doesn't feel that way sometimes-so I'll try to boost my pessimistic attitude by compiling a list:I AM THANKFUL FOR-Fin...

I have dreams sometimes where I'm healthy; that's not what the dream revolves around, but I'm not tired, sick, weak. And then I wake up; not only dismayed by reality but completely spent. It's brutal....
