I'm a solo artist, a one man, well woman, show. As a singer/song-writer, I make all attempts at maintaining creativity and originality. I play piano and harmonica and sing. I was classicaly trained in piano and attended piano school since I was 6. In middle school I started to become more interested in jazz and pop. In high school, I began writing my own music, my first song was Smile which you can hear on my page. I was self taught harmonica as I played flute and figured it couldn't be that far off. I started to learn harmonica because Billy Joel was my favorite artist and Piano Man was the first song I covered and played in public. I also self trained my voice- I was never interested to sounding as though I had a choral or trained voice and I was happy to maintain my own style. The music on my site is from my first demo "The Softest Skin". I am currently recording to turn the demo into a full album, my more recent songs have been more soul and r&b inspired.
