About Me

-To all who read- I make tracks that move me if it moves you then you can understand what I'm talking about. Jakbeat is more of a emotion than a musical genre. Much like its individual parts (Acid, House, Electro, Techno, noise, experimental, EBM, Disco, and so much more) it's static when not felt with your soul. Jakbeat creates hypnotic patterns of drums and melodies to push the envelope of comprehensible dance music for the sake of getting you to move! I can only hope that anyone who listens to what we do (we as in Nation, we as in the movement, we as in those who are tired of cookie cutter dance pop) can appreciate the need to experience this music with your whole body. If you feel like I do then go out, drop some heat, and dance till you sweat!~DMC

real editor best profile tools "Currently D’Marc has been working with long time friends and masters of the decks, JTC and X to create one of the most pivotal projects of his career. X2 was created less than a year after hearing about the exploits of one of the most entertaining artist in world (Traxx, X, M you know who). X2 was brought about after much studio time between JTC, X and D’Marc. It has been said by greater men that Jakbeat as it has come to be known is a not just a hash back to a golden age of house, it’s not just a mess of drum beats and synths and it’s not just something that is created at random. “Jack” exists on all levels and can be found everywhere in music “Jakbeat” is a state of mind and different level of musical consciousness. As a believer of the Nation of Jak I invite you to shut your mouth close your eyes and give in to the rhythm!"
