floweezy is a collection of six Decatur based musicians that have a simple passion for jammin' and havin' a good time. We began hanging out in a "raw" fashion in 2004 and then slowly began forming into something a little more "well done". We've been playing around Central Illinois for the past couple of years, including; Decatur, Springfield, Peoria, Monticello, and the like. We play a majority of original tunes and sprinkle the occasional nostalgic/jammy cover tune into the mix. Always looking to connect with new venues and new bands. "It's like when you chuck eleven eggs in the air with no expectations of making an omelet or when you find a declining room temperature laughable, that's how " floweezy " came about. We are a group of six individuals that all originate from a similar domain and happen to congregate with sybaritic aspirations. We eventually found that a proper instrumental allocation could develop into a musical implosion; moreover, it is potential that you may find us stroking , huffing, or manipulating our instruments in a quasi-local environment... after all, it has been said that 'Atmospheres only allow limitations'."
