About Me

Hey, I am James, an aspiring Theologian, philosopher, author, poet, politician, aid worker, paster, saint, friend. Limited by sin by never prohibited by it. I love people, reading, coffee, beer, tobacco pipe smoking, fellowship, conversation, disc golf, cars.
This is the worst definition of me ever...
I am currently dating the most lovely girl ever... Her name is Katie... #1 in my friends list...Jesus loves you and thank you for reading, James
This is the funniest thing I have read in a while... and I quote:
"I'd like to make some comments on television between the hours of 3 and 8. It pretty much sucks. My options are infomercials on ExtenZe, Mineral Essence, Free and Clear, Roll out Keyboard and of course the ever faithful Ronco knives.

Basically, I've learned that I can cut a hammer with a steak knife that'll never dull in a foreclosed house that I bought in BFE for $300 and then I can learn to play the piano on my roll out keyboard with all the free time I have with my crappy skin and small penis." -Michael

And now for something else completely random:
.. You scored as Gunshot. Your death will be by gunshot, probably because you are some important person or whatever. Possibly a sniper, nice, quick, clean shot to the head. Just beautiful.

My Interests

Well, Hmm.... Lots of stuff, currently I like to disc golf a lot, I used to play paintball semi-competitively, it was fun, but now I am poor. I really love hanging out with people. I enjoy reading (pretty much anything for science fiction/fantacy to theology), listening to music, I like to drive... too bad gas is expensive. I like to excersize moderately, mainly pushup and sit-ups (sometimes). I like coffee too much. People are my passion, I love being with and around people, definately a true extrovert. And so much more!!!

I'd like to meet:

Jesus (in the proverbial flesh), Paul, Peter and James the apostles. My wife ;p . Hm... lots of people.

Music:

Well here goes, its pretty ecclectic: Nickel Creek, Chevelle, some Beastie Boys, Jack Johnson, Matisyahu (Jewish raggae), Emery, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Cold Play, assorted worship music, some Under Oath, Copeland, Postal Service, Eric Clapton, Beatles, Part McCartny, Staveacre, and a bunch more that I cant really seem to recall, but I know I like them...

Movies:

Star Wars (movies 4-6, the originals), Lord of the Rings, Willy Wanka and the Chocolate Factory, Equilibrium, Napoleon Dynamite, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Pirates of the Caribbean, Count of Monte Cristo, Braveheart, Flight of the Navigator, Goonies, Edward Siscorhands, Gladiator, Space Balls, The Princess Bride, Back to the Future 1&3, no not 2, Indiana Jones, Matrix 1, Austin Powers, Serenity, Muppet Movies (especially Muppet Treasure Island), Joe Dirt, Predator, and Comedy, Batman Begins (finally, the way it was supposed to be), Open Range, Tombstone, Quigly Down Under, The Gods Must be Crazy, Transporter, Sixth Sense, Stir of Echos, intelligent action movies and assorted chick flicks…

Television:

Overhaulin', Enterprise, Star Trek: Next Generation ( I dont watch much TV...) don't tell but I am a closet trekky, Pimp my Ride. Firefly was a great show... I hope they bring it back!

Books:

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, Narnia, The Space Trilogy. Wild at Heart, Every Young Man's Battle. Enders Game, Speaker of the Dead.
