The Human Jukebox

About Me

I've been a professional musician performing the local music scene, in bands, as a solo artist and on theater stages for over 15 years. I was born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts where I started out at coffehouses like The Coco Bean Cafe and The Coffee Kingdom. Later I held court at The Java Hut in old Wormtown every Thursday night for the latter half of the 90's.The JOHNNY MOORE TRIO (Johnny Moore, Dave Rivers and Ed Kelly) is known variously as "Andy and the Cruisers", "Andy and the A.C.'s", "Back to Back", "The New Bristols", "The Fairlanes"... playing Rock & Roll from the 50's and 60's These guys are the best players in north central Mass and you really need to hear them while you can. The home demos you're listening to (or not) are just that: home demos. Recorded entirely in my bedroom playing and singing all the parts myself. It's just a hobby but songwriting is something I enjoy and am getting better at the more I do it. These are from a few years back, just me having fun. More will be up as soon as I get them done (actually they already are done, I just haven't put them up yet). I'm available for booking at any event, wedding or private party/function. An experienced teacher, I offer private guitar lessons (acoustic or electric) as well, all at reasonable rates. For lesson info contact: City Music Leominster, Mass 978 534 8989

The Death Of Rock And Roll

In 1958, this new style was firmly in place. It was such a bastard child; an amalgam of country, folk, and rhythm and blues with an occasional gospel harmony. By this time there were not only stars bu...
