I am intrigued by anything psychological. I have an extreme passion for psychology and the human mind. I find mental illnesses to be a "condition", not a disease or anything to fear.Mental Illnesses are a permanent consumption of the mind. When one finds themselves consumed in their own thoughts and unable to escape back into reality. Patients lose touch with reality and begin to fade away into a fantasy world, therefor making a "normal" functioning life, very difficult to achieve, because of dillusions, hallucinations, inhibility to process the simplicity of most things. Many suffering from a mental illness will go years, maybe a lifetime without receiving any medical help. Almost all mental illnesses are treatable in some way, but not necessarily curable. Medical attention such as; diagnosis, treatment, medication, selfhelp organizatoins, and support groups are offered and generally tend to make the patients life a little more compfortable. Everyday life will become easier, and more funtioning.Anyways...
