JackiSimone was offered a full scholarship to several colleges in music. She chose Southern University where she received her Bachelors of Science Degree. She performed with the Southern University Band as the featured singer and artist for the Super Bowl pre game show with the Oakland Raiders. She later went on to perform at half time shows for the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons and other teams as well.After graduation from college, she moved to Los Angeles and pursed spiritual studies with Reverend Doctor Michael Bernard Beckwith of the Agape International Spiritual Center. Through the center, she attained a state license as a spiritual practitioner and counselor. The spiritual center with its vast international membership allowed JackiSimone to expand her musical expression with multicultural nuances.JackiSimone has traveled performing as a featured singer to Seoul Korea, Kyoto Japan, Sydney Australia, and participated at the International Band Festival in Mexico City, Mexico. As an actress she played the lead role as Dorothy in the “Wiz”, LuttieBelle Gussie Mae Jenkins in Purlie, and she was the bell of the ball as “Bella” in the critically acclaimed play “Supper” amongst other roles. Additionally, she has appeared in major television commercials for AT&T, General Electric and Infinity.In response to the many requests for her performances, she formed the JackiSimone Band and created JASE Entertainment and Production Company. In the tradition of mega music mogul Clive Davis, JASE Entertainment will support emerging artists and produce different musical productions for film television and theatre. Currently, the JackiSimone Band provides the finest musical entertainment for all sorts of events from personal, social, to corporate. The musical genres range from soft Standards, Jazz, Blues, Big Band Swing, Motown and a variety of Dance music. While they are based in Los Angeles, California the band performs locally and internationally.Integrating her Southern Baptist upbringing and her love of spiritual mysticism, JackiSimone is now fulfilling a long held desire to produce an inspirational album of original songs chronicling her life’s lessons and spiritual growth. The soul stirring album is intended to uplift, heal, and inspire one to go deeper within. Along with her forthcoming book Soul Call” JackiSimone is creating a series of tapes and CD’s aimed at developing and expanding ones spiritual practice. Steeped in her love of God, She has a thriving private practice counseling an extensive list of clients that includes individuals and groups. She has facilitated classes and workshops at the Agape International Spiritual Center and local prisons.
