About Me

I am a writer, poet & lyricist who has been involved with world music and Brazilian music for many years. I am currently putting together music with experimental and ambient flavors, using Apple's Garage Band.

"Friday" blends salsa-ish piano and a little psychedelia with the default voice on my answering machine. "Rendezvous in Trieste" is a mysterious little number. "Udu Funk" is a flashback to funkier times, with African udu drums and Brazilian batucada (caixa and repique drums, and shakers) mixed in. "Cave Cat" is a sort of batucada chamber piece.

"Appalachian Windowpane" and "Never Say NeoCon" were co-composed with Aaron Jones.
