About Me

As my profile picture shows -- I'm an avid guitar shredder. Music is what my lifestyle is about and for almost 19 years now I've been into Neo-Classical and Power Metal. Not only was I determined in practicing long hours but becoming part of the music industry by being an audio/light technician for 13 years for pro bands. I've been there, done that, and now reminense about it. Some of the bands that I have been involved in were Iced Earth, Savatage, Megadeth, Overkill, Cannibal Corpse, Death, George Lynch, Fates Warning, Testament, Dio, Warlock, to name just a few.

I was born and raised the majority of my life in Orlando, Fl. where I first got my start in the metal scene being so close to Tampa (the Home of Metal). From there I got my start working at the Orlando Arena setting up events for the Orlando Magic, Solar Bears, Predators, and musical events that came my way. After four years of doing this I moved to south Florida where I became more involved with just the musical side of the entertainment business. Down there alot of R&B and Classic Rock was played, as well as Mo-Town.
After 8 years in south Florida I moved to Washington D.C. and hooked up in the metal scene that was being played there for little more than a year.
I tell you what, I've been in several bands and there is nothing like working up to 18-20 hours a day setting up these shows. It's alot of work to put these acts together and the general public just doesn't know what is involved. The first to show up and the last to leave. So be kind if the show doesn't exactly start on time for within drinking your beer or 420 it will be KICK ASS.
For almost 2 years now I have been working on a guitar instructional website
ShredDead-Metal
that will teach Music Theory, Basic & Advanced Chords, Scales & Modes, and Deadly Techniques. Lessons are in both musical score and tablature which will be audio accompanied. Also included will be copyright laws, registration forms, contracts, memberships with AFTRA, ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, and SGA, as well as sample agreements from "Artists Inducement Letter" to "Tour Agreements." I'll keep you posted when this will arrive, for it won't be too long now.
Close to 4 years ago I met my beautiful Soul-Mate through the internet and moved to Tennessee. As of March 2005, Kerri and I now have a wonderful son named Zaine.
