I would love to Meet: Anita Baker- she is just awesome; Destiny's Child- three positive young ladies that I think I would enjoy having lunch with; Nikki Giovanni- I would be honored just to sit in on one of her sessions; Jada Pickett- she is so real; Angela Bassett-she is another awesome person. In some kind of way she reminds me of my mom, I don't know why; Oprah- I just want to be on the Christmas special so that I could have a gift that cost more than I make in a year...lol (that's not true though); Denzel Washington and LLCooJ- Ladies you know why. I love music...anything that is good to me I am listening to it. This is just a small collection of what I could remember. Kelis latest album is bananas. I love it front to back. Especially the song titled "Lil Star" as soon as I am able to put it on my page your ears will be blessed. Danity Kane's CD is alright too. I can't wait for Beyonce's DC to drop, thats going to be an amazing album. Some of ya'll ain't ready. That's right I said Ain't!!! I also enjoy listening to Alicia Keys, Vivian Green, Destiny's Child, Anita Baker, Luther Vandross, Will Downing, Toni Braxton, Kevon Edmonds "24/7", Mariah Carey's lastest CD is Hot, Leela James is the truth (I think I am fascinated with her hair) also check out "Fresh Daily formerly know as Ill Tarzan" he's "Superspetacula" with his ill rhymes and hot beats. If you don't know you better ask somebody!!! I also like Pop Music: Maroon 5, Norah Jones, and Gwen Stefani...Music is considered a medication to me. I have to take it morning, noon, and night. Side Effects: being calm, creates emotions, and providing peace of mind.
I love to watch a good movie. Some of my favorite movies are:
A Bronx Tale, Selena, Pretty Woman, Love and Basketball, Saw, Brown Sugar, Shrek 1 and 2, Enough, Coyote Ugly, Love Jones, Lifetime movies, All Black drama movies and BET films, Spike Lee movies, John Singleton Films, I love a good Horror movie, I am a sucker for musicals and dance movies, and Action movies with Vin Diesel starring in it...lol

I love watching TV but the classics are: Martin, Living Single, Different World, The Cosby Show, and Fresh-prince. I love teen drama shows (Don't ask why, just know that I do). I am also a soap opera chick. I am ashamed to admitt it but its true. But it's not that bad. I just watch "As The World Turns", so if you are a ATWT head hit me up and we need to talk about what's going on in Oakdale.
I read more magazines then books. I love reading Essence, Jet, Glamour, Baazar, my nursing journals, and Instyle. Ok so I put Cornell West book down, I had to give the mind a rest and I have picked up "The Delta Sister" by Kayla Perrin. This book is a page turner. I suggest that you pick it up and read it. I also enjoy reading the one and only book I turn to when I am happy, sad, confused, or angry and that is my "Bible". I have the King James Version so when I go to church I can follow. However, I also have the "Daily Study Bibly for Women" so I will understand what the preacher just said...lol
I owe my parents so much, without them I wouldn't be who I am today. God truely blessed me with amazing parents that will do anything for me. I love you. My grandmother has also taught me a great deal. Just listening to her and having a conversation with her makes me happy. I thank God for them three everyday. NOw i Am GoINg oT Cry!!!
