The name Forza was taken from an Italian word meaning 'Strength' or 'Force'. As the music played meant to have strength that's why the name Forza was chosen. Was formed in the late 1999 as just a hobby band to enter a band competition in the Malay scene Anugerah. Forza went into the Finals for the battle of the band playing what they did best playing rock music. But that was just the beginning. Forza was formed by Fazri (Lead guitarist) picking up the rest of the guys as in casual jamming session in the earlier stage. Faz of Reckless Hearts, joined them casually to be the 2nd guitarist whenever the keyboardist isn't around. Forza, came to halt at one point in time as the members are busy with daily life. But come late 2007, they are planning a bigger run in the musical industry again. The new line-up has not been finalised yet as there are some uncertainty in the members commitment. Whatever the case it, Forza will definitely start kicking into action come 2008.
