About Me

There's not a whole lot to be said about me. I'm 18 and a senior at Cranbrook Kingswood. I take classes that are too hard for my own good, and never get time to have fun but I'm awkward when I go out so I guess thats not such a bad thing. When I'm not in class or doing homework, I design and build robots, program, and work on my cars - a 55 Chevy and a 2004 Chevy which runs a fuel cell part of the time. Oh yeah, the fuel cell is patented, which makes me pretty pimp. I also despise calculus homework, so if you're a graded derivative or integral, find someone else to solve you.

My Interests

I love building and fooling with computers, cars, robots, engineering stuff, and driving. I program autonomous robots, participate in FIRST, and design fuel cells, CVTs, and self-driving vehicle subsystems for fun. Cool, no? And sometimes I even get to present these ideas to businessy-types. Its all fun.

I'd like to meet:

I eat people when I meet them. Stay away.

Music:

I listen to just about everything, but some groups I actually seek out. I love classic rock and I listen to a lot of new stuff, too - you can find my radio tuned to 106.7, 94.7, 88.7, and 95.5 if I'm feeling gangsta. My iPod is a varitable encyclopedia of music, since I don't know what I download - I streamrip and some of everything (mostly bad) ends up on there.Lets see... Besides random stuff, I listen to: Ben Folds (Five), They Might Be Giants, Juanes, Dave Matthews Band, Sting and the Police, Belle & Sebastian, Beck, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Cat Stevens, Counting Crows, Swing and Jazz (generic), Dan Bern, David Broza, Joni Mitchell, Rap - as long as its smart (Kanye, anyone?), Comedy (Mitch Hedberg, Dane Cook), Bollywood soundtracks, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Nirvana, U2, Coldplay, Rufus Wainright, Latin stuff, Jack Johnson, Barenaked Ladies, Van Morrison, Trance - like ATB, Basement Jaxx, Telepopmusik, Dirty Vegas, Qkumba Zoo, etc., Cake, The Layabouts, Frank Zappa,Name something else and I probably like it, too.

Movies:

My all-time favorite movie would be the Big Lebowski. Other movies I tend to watch once and either I enjoy it or not, but not so many repeats with the exception of Back to the Future, Jurrasic Park, and most other series - if they were good enough to make multiple movies, they can be viewed multiple times... Other than that, generic sci-fi and horror movies for me.

Television:

I don't watch TV much... I watch the Pistons if they're on, the Man Show, Family Guy, American Dad, The Simpsons, The Daily Show, Stella, South Park, Da Ali G Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Top Gear, Mythbusters, any police videos, generic latenight madness, and cars that don't go in circles.

Books:

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Harry Potter series, Gatsby, textbooks about chemistry, physics, math, or programming, and other books I can't quite remember right now since I havent read them recently (thanks, schoolwork!).

Heroes:

There aren't too many shining rays of light in our bleak future. By that I mean I prefer to look up to myself and my potential, rather than try and emulate someone else. Why reinvent the wheel, when you can make something better if you start off with your own design?
