Valerio Murat inherits the art of war and his tenacity in fighting from his forefather Joaquim Murat.
A mysterious aphasia, which persisted until he was five years old, pushed him towards the secrets of memory and images.
From the crabs and the dragonflies he learnt the qualities of constance and lightness. On the 5th of December 1981, at the age of five, he composed the latin motto Festina Lente.
When he was nine, on the 17th of December 1985, he pronounced for the first time his own name. The on-lookers became terrified.
He often fasts (not always as a result of his own choice) because he believes that the reasons of the stomach are incompatible with the ones of composing.
He has foreseen his death on the 6th of April 2071.
Aiming to achieve the sublime transparences of Italo Calvino and Antoni Gaudí, on the 7th of December 1997 he solemnly layed his soul in the arms of Nike of Samothrace.
He discards a life of wealth, but lives with dignity, alternating the pleasures of hospitality and friendship with his wellknown ability in dispensing predictions.

With Riikka Kosola, Bérengère Valour and Jordi Sànchez Puig he founded the Blue Wide Eyes Project a collective based in Helsinki, Paris, Barcelona and Rome. With them he explores the pathes of Dream and Seduction.
