K.D., an up and coming rap artist/songwriter/ producer introduced himself to the central valley in January of 2004 with the release his debut album/demo in titled “Demo Now…Album Later.” Just 18 years of age, and a senior at Edison High School, he began self distributing his demo, selling them for only five dollars a pop. Just one year later his music re-surfaced, hitting the airwaves at B95 (a popular radio station, broadcasting out of Fresno, Ca.). Since then he has been performing at various venues all throughout the Valley, even opening up for artists such as: E-40, Coolio, Digital Underground, Sugar Free, Celly Cell and Fat Joe. The Oakland born rising star started raping, and writing raps at the young age of nine. At the age of 15 he was crowned freestyle champ in Sacramento, this earned him the title K.D, short for “Killa Diesel”. At the age of 16, his mother moved him and his six siblings to the Central Valley; when asked how he would describe his music and style, he responded “Propalopa,” and when asked to define this, he said “proper with a little extra touch.” And by witnessing his performance, you too will find this to be true.
