Chicagoland servant of the one we call JACK. Anthony has been playing for 16 years pushing tunes into the ears of partygoers. Formerly known as "Disko", Anthony's sound was introduced to us in the latter days of the "rave" evolution, playing parties for VooDoo Child Prods., Takes 2 and ShadeFree in Chicago and surrounding states.
On the decks only at the young age of 12, a true son of house was born. Coming up as a young, house DJ in the early 90's has proven beneficial to his career as those were the days when house music was simply just that... house music - born and bred in Chicago. He, shortly thereafter, was introduced to scratching techinques and turntablism. Though he is not known as a scratch DJ, Anthony did partake in a few regional scratch competitons and happily placed in the top three in two (2) Guitar Center Spin Off events in 2000 & 2002 which better rounded him as a performing DJ.
Well-versed in the short-cut style of mixing hip hop and top 40, Anthony spent a season mixing live perfomances for local hip hop M.C., Cire, of the Blukolar Politiks crew while continuing to travel the states spreading the gospel of house music. His first love...
In late 2006 Anthony gained representation by Mode Music; a collective of suburban house DJ's, recently took upon a weekly residency @ Xippo in Roscoe Village. He has been jacking the tracks and representing Chicago since the year of 1991 and will continue to do so until his final days. Come out and get your boogie on.
