I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1981and started to play the bass at the age of 12 in Goiania. When I was 18 I moved to Brasilia to start my Bachelor Degree in Music Composition at the University of Brasilia, which I concluded in 2006. At the same time I was studying Electric Bass at the Professional Center of Musical Education in Brasilia (Escola de Musica de Brasila) with Oswaldo Amorim.Since 2000 I have been working as a professional musician, playing with many bands, and accompanying many singers such as Virginie (Banda Metro), Guilherme Isnard (Banda Zero), and others. My professional experience has been also related to sound track compositions for theater, short movies and publicity.In 2007 I moved to Australia and since then I’ve being playing with different bands including Lolo Lovina, Banda Mundo, Dr. Feel Good, Klezmer Connection, Duo Brazil and others, with whom I also had the opportunity to play in festivals like Bellingen Global Carnaval, Woodford Folk Festival, and others.
