About Me

Send a message if you try "add" me.

Before I get into myself, I just started a company...if you are into trading and finance check out www.vantagepointtrading.com

ok, now me...

We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, but rather spiritual beings having a human experience.

-Dr. Wayne Dyer-

When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds; your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.

-Patanjali (c. 1st to 3rd century BC)

I try to live my life by the above quotes. The universe is friendly and if I do good within it abundance for myself and others will be provided. Anyone is capable of doing anything they put their mind too. I am learning this myself, and in the process I am trying to create a great life for myself which allows me to give back abundantly to those in need. Whatever success I may attain is not mine alone, for I will share it, and in sharing more will be given to me so that I may share that as well.
I love to read and can often be found at a coffee shop reading anything from holistic medicine to psychology, history, or business books. I am in business, but I enjoy learning about the interests of others, and over time many of those interests have become my own. I love theater and those kinds of activities. I am a stock trader and love it. I am actually disappointed when the weekends come because the stock markets aren't open. How many people can say that they love their job that much? I am proud to say that I can.

I am nice to anyone who deserves kindness, and the worst enemy to those that are not kind and therefore not deserving. That said, I realize we all come from different backgrounds and I try to empathize with those that have travelled a tougher road and thus possibly have a negative personality that reflects that. Everyone deserves a second chance, but if you don't get one it does not mean that life is unfair. But it does mean that you must move on.

But who said life was fair anyway, and who am I to say that it is not unfair....I am no one to make that statement. But I can say this, if we think of life in terms of fair and unfair we will always have an excuse. Life is what it is and it is unraveling as it should. It can not be defined by two simple words.

That is enough "About Me."

My Interests

The stock market is my passion and my life, golf, volleyball and Martial Arts are in the runner up spots. Jogging, walking, rollerblading, reading, music, movies, opera, symphony, plays, dinner theaters, travel, and last but never least - DANCING!

I'd like to meet:

Romantically: Someone who is encouraging and supportive. A companion and friend who will walk beside me in life. Intellectually stimulating, yet communicates and is lead by her heart. Accepting of those around her and knows that words don’t always need to be used to express how one feels.

Friends: Pretty much anyone, unless you are en ego star or your ONLY interest in life is partying.

Networking: I am a day trader, stock trader and forex trader so anyone interesting in these areas I welcome. If you are looking to learn I can help, or if you feel that you can help me become a better trader I encourage you to correspond. I have a group here on myspace, Trade the Day , were can read my views and methods of trading. Questions and comments are always encouraged.

Others: Anthony Robbins, through his books has transformed my life. While I still have a long way to go to accomplishing what I want both personally and professionally, the tools in his books have given me a head start and a guide for continued change and success.

Most Importantly: God, I want to see him more, even though I see him everyday. It was a life changing moment when I realized that if I can't see God in everything, I won't be able to see him anything.

Music:

Update: Mobile, Theory of a Deadman, Hinder, Godsmack, Shiny Toy Guns, and of the course the old trusties listed below.

Everything from JOSH GROBAN (unreal) and Andrea Bocelli (unreal as well) to Three Days Grace. I do like a lot of more "classical" stuff or softer music like Loreena McKennitt and Evanescence, Dixie Chicks, Enya, and Tori Amos, but then I also like bands like Marron 5, Kazzar, Metallica, Live, Rammstein, and trance/rave. I like some country and I am open to almost anything.

Movies:

Update: Enjoyed Fearless, Thank You for Smoking, The Devil Wears Prada, Talladega Nights, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, and some older one...Cruel Intentions, Kill Bill movies, and American History X.

I like more thought provoking movies. A few of my unheard of favorites would be 13 Conversations About One Thing, The House of Sand and Fog, Donnie Darko, A Beautiful Mind, Till Human Voices Wake Us, White Oleander, Titus and many others. I of course love some more main stream movies too, such as the Hannibal Lecter series, Scarface The Godfathers, and plenty of comedies. Any movie that teaches you something, is worth a watch. And there is nothing wrong with a good laugh. I love comedies. A few of my favs are Anchor Man (just cause it is so over the top), the Ladies Man (for the same reason as Anchor Man), Me, Myself and Irene, and Rat Race.

Television:

House, Numbers, The Soprano's, Nip Tuck, OC, Scrubs, ER and the Apprentice (although starting to get a little old now) are among the best shows on television. The absolute best show is Boston Legal; the show is the "what's what" of witty banter and subtle humor.

Family Guy is FANTASTIC. CSI Las Vegas is good and a couple of the Law and Orders are pretty good.

Ok, enough about TV.

Books:

Psychology, Philosophy, Business, medical, Stock market, and drama. Books I Recently read; God A Biography, Awaken the Giant Within, The Book of Tells, Tuesdays with Morrie, Multiple Streams of Income, the Tipping Point, all of Paulo Coelho books (WOW), Social Intelligence (very interesting) and Freakanomics.

Also, while I won't specifically list them, I am always reading material on the stock market. This really is my passion. I don't know why, but the intricacies of it and the fact that when I am trading I am basically communicating and competing with others around the world is a very powerful feeling.

Heroes:

Anyone who goes for it and wins, and more interesting those who fail but try again.
