Introducing Virginia's own $ha-Rich

About Me

Whats good its ya boy Sha-Rich. Im glad I finally got a music page so I can show da world that theres talent in VA. A lil bit about me I was born in Decatur GA but moved to Norfolk VA when I was three years old. Im the only child in my family and both of my parents are together. I lived a restricted life because my parents are Muslim but I dont claim a religious preference. So I didnt really get myself out in the lime light until I moved to Virginia Beach in 97. I meet my crew in 1998 and my nigga Tradge, Ack, Wax, & Diz all knew how to rap. The whole roster of RNS is The General Tradge B aka Hollywood da Hoodfella, the other general Ack Money aka Moocho Dinero, OD aka Zion, Wax-a-mill, Wes Diggy, Jay Jigga, and me ya boy $ha-Rich aka Virginia Slim aka Mr. 4th Quarter Soilder. So we use to freestyle battle each other and have cyphas in school. I couldnt freestyle at the time so I had the same written rap to spit. We won a talent show at Kempsville Rec in 98. They gave us a trophy and we neva gave it back. SORRY. LOL. I use to go to the studio wit my niggaz and VA Nam. VA Nam was an older version of us. As years went on niggaz got better and niggaz found there way in the studio. We knew we needed money so niggaz did what they had to do for money. People said I had no rhytme and flow on a track so I was exclude from alot of our main stream projects but not the mixtape shit. I got better with freestylin and rhyming to a beat but I was still excluded. I did my own music projects to show my niggaz I was ready for mainstream projects but shit was happening between the fam. RNS as a rap group had broken up and it was only Popular Thugs(Ack & Tradge) left to carry the team. But RNS as niggaz is like a fraternity. We fam till death or dishonor(sorry Diz) I didnt like being put on the back burner even more so I made my own mixtapes and the streets loved it because I told the stories of the streets form my eyes and if you knew me you knew my music was real. I went to Norfolk State University and I tried to work as a DJ for the radio station but it was a long wait that I couldnt take. So, I transfered to Wright State University in Dayton/Fairborn OH. I work for my schools radio station 106.9 WWSU and now I got the resources to record my music. I do underground hip-hop, mainstream hip hop, and rap dat got dat r&b feel to it. Right now Im recordin my own music till I find a producer or someone that can run the board. So, I know my levels is gonna be fucked up but I want yall to hear the potential cuz I dont speak about I be about. If it wont for my RNS niggaz I wouldnt be trying to keep this movement going. Im ready for a deal and tryin to get it poppin fo sho. I want to give my parents money so they wont have to work and but my money in Virginia because with all the talent that came out of VA we aint got shit to show for it. The music will get better so come fuck wit ya boy... Oh yeah listen to my show if you in Dayton, Oh or if you outta town go to http://listen.to/wwsu to listen online.
