Music:
As of late, Jeremy Camp has been my music staple--when I get tired of that, I listen to Classical mostly (Brahms, Hindemith, Beethoven, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Schubert, Dvorak, Mendelssohn and Debussy are some of my favorites). Jazz still interests me. Check out Coolfield's music--his lyrics are wonderful.
Movies:
Napolean Dynamite (yesssss!); My Big Fat Greek Wedding (I can relate--at least 'cuz I'm part Greek);Braveheart--it's the Scott in me!; Mr. Bean; Chronicles or Narnia; LOTR Trilogy; Elf; Emma; Sense and Sensibility; Good Will Hunting; Dead Poet's Society; My Left Foot; Captain Corelli's Mandolin; Kingdom of Heaven; Life is Beautiful; Shadowlands; Dummy; Man on the Moon; Cinderella Man; Howard's End; Impromtu (Chopin and his sidekick Georges Sand!); End of the Spear; Chariots of Fire; The gods must be crazy; O Brother where Art Thou?; The Life Aquatic; Zoolander; Music of the Heart; Gandhi(!); House of Sand and Fog. Ooo, if you haven't seen A Christmas Carol with Kelsey Grammer (sp?), you should--a delightful musical!
Television:
Since last summer, I've been practically addicted to watching La Fea Mas Bella (I don't care what you say, it's a great comedy!--much funnier than Ugly Betty); when I see Jeopardy on, it's way too hard to change the channel-love it! And then there's PBS: Mystery, Seasame Street, the News Hour with Jim Lehrer, political documentaries, some nature shows.
