We're always looking for people with a good knowledge of Bay Area neighborhoods (mainly San Francisco and the East Bay) so we can cover the area with upcoming Noise Pop marketing materials. If you feel like you could brave the winter elements armed only with a staple gun, spool of tape and a bundle of fliers, email [email protected] with this information:
-Full Name
-Location (City and Neighborhood)
-Location you feel most comfortable in (if different from where you live)
-Phone
-Email
-Age
-Any website/social networking site url's
-Have you ever volunteered for Noise Pop before? If so, when and in what capacity?
-If you haven't worked for us before, what type of street team/event running experience do you have?
-How do you feel you could best help Noise Pop? What skills do you bring to the table?
-How easily can you get around town? Car? Bike? Bus? Exceptionally fast walker?
-If it was raining and we needed you to go flyering, could you handle getting a wet?
-And finally, pick the best answer: You and a fellow member are working a show and one of your favorite bands is playing. Your fellow volunteer had been watching the previous band and said that (s)he would be back before the band you like, but they aren't anywhere to be found! Do you…
A)Get pissed off and go watch the band, assuming that the other member will be right back.
B)Stay put and wait until the other person gets back. Then talk to the show manager to see if it is okay if you take a break.
C)Stay cool & calm and figure it should be fine to run off to the pit for a few songs.
D)Stay put at your post and give the person the silent treatment when they wander back.
