There once was a little girl who never knew love until a hug broke her heart....
So me...a God loving girl who just can't slow down...ever moving but eternally seeking where he'll have me rest...I have this inherent awareness that this is not where my road ends, but I have to admit, that despite all of my past efforts to NOT let myself love this corner of the world I currently call home...I'm not sure anywhere else will ever feel quite the same...This place is charm,and sincerity, and the small, simple things....always a soft place to land. It's sprinkled with my friends and family whom I love to no end...and until recently was home to my mamabear, Mulisha(Rest sweet brown dog)...It's been rough losing her, but I find myself thankful for the chance to have cared for her as she'd cared for me..Guess that's just what nurturers do...I'm thankful for that healing heart and along with it my undying optimism... Sometimes you just gotta jump...so it doesn't hurt to have a heart with wings...When I'm not flying off cliffs, I'm working my hiney off as Business Development Manager and Marketing consult for a mergers and acquisitions firm and involved in work with the Earth Day network and Green Apple festivals...I work from home, which translates to lots of time, organization, accountability, and traveling...I do my job well, but still not sure the business world is where I need to be...Feeling God's will move and change my life and my heart these days, so I guess we'll see if my professional life gets transformed as well...Some things that will likely never change...LSU FAN 4 LIFE and always pulling for the Red Sox!..I'm deathly afraid of small spaces and clowns and am addicted to sushi, lip gloss, karaoke,Diet Coke in a can, and bowed up guys that fight (something about a strong technical beatdown!!) lol Otherwise,music makes my world go round and round...alongside my dreams of beaches in Greece and the perfect steam shower...Love fitness swimming, ATV'S, horseback riding, Cirque de Soliel and playing in the rain... Wanna learn to ride a Hog(Still haven't done that yet)...have some of my fondest memories over gumbo and chicken melts at KD'S...I curse my treadmill daily and I can't make pancakes(so close)...gonna carve my name on a bench in Canada one day and bungee jump in New Zealand...might even have to throw myself out of a plane...if someone doesn't clip my heart wings fast enough and keep me planted to the ground...'til then,stay tuned and stay forever faithful and strong!!...Is there truly any other way? ;-)NOTHING BETTER EVER COMES FROM STANDING STILL...LIVE LIKE YOU MEAN IT...TAKE CHANCES AND LIVE UNAFRAID..
