I'd like to meet:
Words
are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup, ............. They
slither wildly as they slip away across the universe ............. Pools
of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind, ............. Possessing
and caressing me ............. Jai guru de va om ............. Nothing's
gonna change my world ............. Nothing's gonna
change my world ............. Nothing's gonna change
my world ............. Nothing's gonna change my world ............. Images
of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes, ............. They
call me on and on across the universe, ............. Thoughts
meander like a restless wind inside a letter box ............. They
tumble
blindly as they make their way across
the universe ............. Jai guru deva om ............. Nothing's
gonna change my world ............. Nothing's gonna
change my world ............. Nothing's gonna change
my world ............. Nothing's gonna change my world ............. Sounds
of laughter, shades of earth are ringing ............. Through
my open ears, inciting and inviting me ............. Limitless
undying love which shines around me like a million
suns and calls me on and on across the
universe ............. Jai guru deva om ............. Nothing's
gonna change my world ............. Nothing's gonna
change my world ............. Nothing's gonna change
my world ............. Nothing's gonna change my world ............. Jai
guru deva
Who I'd Like To Meet:
Hunter S. Thompson(RIP): 'Cause he is one of the primary inspirations I have for pursuing a career in journalism.
Jesus: 'Cause I've always wanted to meet a fictional character.
Dennis Rader, Charles Manson, Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, Jeffery Dahmer: There's something intriguing about the mind of someone who can be so irreversibly insane, but also so incredibly ordinary. People like this point out how thin the veil of sanity really is.
Lou Reed: Because he's pretty much the coolest person that ever existed.
Richard Linklater: I like his movies.
Jon Stewart: Also one of my inspirations as a journalist. I admire him for what he has done in the post-modern, pundit-filled shithole of American news programs. By making light of serious news programs, he has pointed a finger at some of the real problems with the media today.
