Hey, you've found solarace's page. Good for you. We'll spare you the third-person bio that you've come to be so familiar with on MySpace, ok? here's some basics. Rob Grew up in Orange county and started playing guitar at a young age. Influenced heavily by the wealth of complexity surrounding his own mind and not so ever by the plastic veneer of the whole OC existence, he began constructing a style unto his own. He's known for fusing "Jazzy" chords and progressions with a very heavy handed alt-metal style. Ian was the kid in school who could pick up anything and have it mastered before most of his contemporaries had established a working knowledge of the basics. under the tutillage of local drum wizard, Kyle Batty, he adapted an ability to combine finesse and power with just a bit of madness, giving the band a unique pulse. To op it off he has also been the man behind the faders, producing and engineering everything we've put out so far. Bjorn was already esttablished as a master of his instrument by the time he made it stateside. Hailing from a small towm outside of Amsterdam, he entered the conservatory, before finally making his way to the US where he moved in to Rob's place, sleeping behind the couch and in the garage. Humbly biding his time, he emerged a few years later as a known session player in the LA rock, Jazz and pop scenes. Cody was raised by musicians on all sides of the family, even his stepdad's a drummer. Growing up on blues, gospel, classic rock and metal, his style is diverse and ever expanding. This does not, however take away from the fact that he is also a world class piece of shit. He probably owes YOU money.Solarace was formed because we wanted to play the kind of music that we want to hear, heavy, melodic and different.
