Born and raised in Northwest Ohio in a small town named Ayersville. Played drums in the school band until 10th grade. Started playing guitar in a band with High School friends Marshal Burns, Randy Retcher and Randy McCoy. At the age of 32 I moved to Indianapolis Indiana and met many great musicians there. I met Bob Bailey and Dick Dennerline while working at Indy Cycle and Ski. Bob introduced me to many great Indy musicians. I played their with The Leftovers, Higher Ground, Thirty Watt Joe, Lindsey Ridener, Young Miles Power Trio and Benito Di'Bartoli and the Black Voodoo Band. When I moved to Knoxville Tn. in 2006 I started hanging out with Bowlling Green Ohio native "Bearfoot Gibby". He showed me some of the local establishments and got me started in doing my own acoustic show.
