I cant sing... yeah, I'll put that out there right now. I can't play any instrument either... But I sure do play the radio well! Aside from that... I love my family! I love spending time with them though I don't get much time to do so. They crack me up! I love God too... even though I don't manage to show it like I could. I'm becoming an expert at falling on His grace. I love to teach but more than that I love to learn. I used to wonder everything... now that life has gotten in the way I don't wonder much more than whats for dinner. When my students wonder, however, and I can give them an answer... or better yet, when I can't, I feel like my old self again.
The river of doubt gave birth to a beautiful stone. And in my hand I held it and I knew I was on my own. So I picked it up and held it to the sky. And in my reflection I knew I was all alone. Then I saw a girl with the most beautiful hair. She had it wrapped around her for clothes she did not wear. I asked her for a lock, and she complied after leaving georgous footsteps in the sand as if she didn't care. Well she was the prettiest girl I ever saw and the stone lay there without a flaw and the feelings I had defied the law as I came to, and I went to. and I took a look, I looked down the road and saw a badger and a one-eyed toad. They didn't say a word, they just looked at me with that wise old look of the old. Then I went down to town, to my favorite merry-go-round, to the place where magic horses fly and you seldom see a frown. Then I stole a ring from The Flying Horses, and I can't begin to explain how I stole a ring from The Flying Horses, and its all rusty now.... You see cuz that stone fell through my pocket, and that lock of hair flew away with the wind. If you chance to meet upon either you know where they've been. But don't pick them up or try to find me, they are much happier on their own. Beauty like that knows no home. And if you take a look and look down the road and see a badger and a one-eyed toad they won't say a word, they'll just look at you with that wise old look of the old.
I have an addiction to used dvds. Its bad. I'm pawning my tv for money to buy more dvds.
I quit cable, went cold turkey... now my tv watching is purely social.
I just read Marley and Me - It made me laugh, made me cry, and made me want to hug my man... and my dogs. My well used, falling apart, read and re-read bible is my fav. :)
My brother and my sister. ... And my jellyfish - you are an incredible person. I love you
