My passions are spiritual growth, multi-dimensional physics, consious self-transformation/evolution, pyschological/intellectual exploration and development, writing music, filmmaking, (anything to express TRUTH in a new and creatvive way) and making the world a better place through humanitarian and environMental projects. I'm a drummer/songwriter in a "indie" rock band called SOFT ENVIRONMENTAL COLLAPSE (www.myspace.com/softenvironmentalcollapse or click on the link on my Top 8). The band is now on a hiatus due to the current circumstances. I was directing a feature length documentary I wrote about people with mental and physical disabilities. I was also an entrepreneur starting my own business(es) and involved with independent humanitarian projects that meet the needs of those who the system has failed.
It would be nice to meet like-minded, enthusicastic, inspiring, loving, conscious, aware individuals who strive to add to the Cosmic Drama by contributing toward the evolutionary unfoldment of Humanity's Divine Purpose- to LOVE. We're all here to learn to love...It's that simple, really. Spread Joy or Be Destroyed.
Being a musician and songwriter, I tend to have a bias towards anything that feels contrived or mainstream. Some of my favorites are, in no particular order: Flaming Lips, Radiohead, M83, Sigur Ros, The Refused, The Cure, Television, Karate, The Zombies, Gang of Four. Currently in the Rotation: Sunny Day Real Estate, The Fire Theft, NIN, Wheat, Poor Rich Ones, etc. Eccentricies: June of '44 (Rachael's, Shipping News, Rodan, etc), Roadside Monument, Joe Christmas, Blenderhead, etc. GARY WILSON.
Anything that expresses creativity, originality, intelligence, and communicates a coherent message about truth. In other words, I'm not interested in most (99.9% of) Western cinema, a vapid waste land of baseless entertainment and idle chatter; such is the unfortunate condition of modern robots (man). André Tarkovsky's films elucidate the spiritual emptiness that plagues modern man and pricks people's conscience to dig deeper into themselves and find truth: that's the kind of cinema, the kind of life, I crave. ..
All I know is that the invention itself has yet to be bested by its modern use. The irony of a culture who has grown up on T.V. is that it does not even know who Philo T. Farnsworth was. Do you?
Non-Fiction. I may get burned as a heretic.
