I Sixteen nascono alla fine del 2005 da un gruppo di nuotatori quattordicenni, che mettendo su le prime cover, iniziano a dilettarsi nelle prime serate live a Livorno. Con il passare del tempo, Simone (chitarra e voce) scrive canzoni che facendole ascoltare ai suoi compagni di viaggio,iniziano ad arrangiarle e a farle nascere come prime canzoni ufficiali. All’inizio del 2008 la band svolta completamente verso una fervente promozione delle proprie canzoni cercando cosi di farsi conoscere. Infatti i ragazzi il 24 maggio 2008, disputano la finalissima dell’importante festival di Saint Vincent , esibendosi cosi per la prima volta davanti ad un pubblico di oltre 2000 persone . Nell’estate si esibiscono in varie date tra Toscana, Abruzzo e Lazio.ENGLISH VERSION
“Sixteen†born at the end of 2005 by a group of fourteen swimmers that putting on the first cover began to enjoy themselves in their first live events in Livorno. Over time, Simone (voice and guitar) started writing songs, but he didn’t want to keep them to his own use, so he decided to include his friends; then were created the first official Sixteen songs. At the beginning of 2008 the band totally turned to a fervent promotion of their songs in order to make themselves known. Infact the guys, on the 24th of May 2008 reached the final of the important Saint Vincent festival, performing for the first time in front of an audience of over 2000 people; moreover, during the summer, they performed in several dates among Tuscany, Abruzzo and Lazio... ...
