About Me

Admiral-Mack-Daddy-Matt-Bar – Pete’s Place 1/31/09
Now who could it be, pullin’ up to the do in the Range Rover? It’s Mack-Daddy-Matt-Bar lookin’ like a four leaf clover. What, what? That’s right! We’re putting the cabash on this Star Wars nonsense and closing out with Admiral Mack-Daddy-Matt-Bar. The MDMB is dressed to impress, and possibly sell religion, in a pair of brown non-pleated Stafford slacks, a white button down short sleeve Stafford shirt and a thin (but not too thin) tie (backpack, helmet and bicycle sold separately). Matt-Bar also comes equipped with a rusty old SM58 and is trapped inside approximately 47 tangled up mic cables.
The Mack-Daddy’s live action shot was taken at the Galaxy Theatre in Santa Ana where he’s seen surrendering himself to the Holy Spirit of the elusive Yellow Ice Cream Polo, or possibly practicing his “Peek-a-Booh” moves for the next time Devoid needs a fill-in.
Rumors have been flying around lately saying that the Admiral’s mediocre vocal stylings are only a façade for a far more sinister plan. It is said that the Daddy-Matt has been secretly procreating behind the scenes and raising an army that will one day take over the world (or at least La Mesa). This rag-tag battalion of rug-rats are only known as “The Rhea Army.” Various translations of ancient text (messages) suggest that one day when large beasts rise from the sea and there’s a 20% chance of rain (and the Regal Beagle Lounge actually opens), The Rhea Army will rise in thousands to rid the world of creamy white colored condiments and insure the proper order in which carne asada burrito components are placed inside stretchy tortillas. Other agenda items include becoming incorporated and eventually franchising.
Beware of the Rhea Army…they walk and crawl among us!
If Manganista were a shirt, it would have a large collar, many bright colors, and be found rather easily on a rack at a local thrift store. The shirt would fit well and make the wearer feel as though they were thumbing their nose at convention, while still holding onto a feeling that is in a word… sexy.
