Influences: My musical influences are: My high school band director Mr. Benjamin Pruitt Sr. for seeing MY potential and pushing me to double up on different instrumetns. Other influences are: Miles Davis, Jaco, Verdine White,Vctor Wooten, Stanley Clake, David Sanborn, Ronnie Laws, Sting, Paul Mc Carthy, Stevie Wonder, Jimi Hendrix, Steward Copeland, Dennis Chambers, my hero MARCUS MILLER. "Whew!" Listen, I could be here all day & night naming folks that have influenced me. The problem is, there are way too many for me to mention.
First and foremost, I am considered as a Bassist. Second, I would be considered as a Multi-instrumentalist (Woodwinds, upright bass, guitars, keyboards, harmonica, percussion, drums, violin and backing vocals). Third, I'am a song writer.
I learned from my travels thoughout the world, I that you have to be "open minded" in order to be exceptional at the things that you do.Music is like the human race, not one is better that the whole. Therefore, embrace as many differences as you can retain.
