DSK is a band, formed in Italy in 2004. The music genre played is a Funky/Pop/Rock. Yarsha is the main voice and keyboard player, Stefano on the bass, Luca on the guitar, Alberto is the drummer.
After 6 months together we recorded our first demo. With that demo, we've turned around a lot of contests in Italy, winning some of them, but obtaining always the same answer: "you sing in english, we want Italian here". We always wanted an international career, using the english music market as our main model. So we tried to spread around our music in our country searching for someone who could help us to get signed... and you know what? Every person we met, every organization, company, label, always told us that the english couldn't lead us anywhere in that country as well as in England. We definitely don't think so. So we decided to record a new demo to have a full album, and to move directly to UK! We will play here in London because we really believe in our potential and the strength of our songs, and we believe that the people in this country, have the greatest pop music culture than any other country in Europe. It is a pop context, but the lyrics are often talking about something less "easy going", and that Yarsha catches and cages in a song, so please: listen to us!!!
