Powertrioen Plywood fra Strømmen serverer hard indierock som sparker baller. Plywood vandrer hvileløst omkring grenseområdene i stoner-land men kommer alltid hjem i egen kjent stil. - aktuelle med albumene "The ways of the past" [Reel noise records/Musikkoperatørene] - et knippe kraftfulle tøff-i-trynet låter fylt med lidenskap og primal energi. Det er til tider kjapt, til tider mer dempet, men hele tiden ligger den delikate, litt aggressive, undertonen i lydbildet. Albumet er spillt inn i Sound riot studio, produsert av Plywood og Thomas Fredriksen. Mastret i The cuttingroom i Stockholm av Thomas Eberger.

Some people say they get vague feelings of Placebo guitars, PJ Harvey..s tenseness, even sometimes Glen Danzig..s vocals, but most people seems to agree that this is simply a great norwegian rock band.
The debut ep [wanna be the king! - bubblesound - bus004cd] is produced by the band, engineered and co-produced by Thomas Fredriksen (El Caco).
Plywood released their full length debut album "The ways of the past" late in 2005 by Reel noise records in Bergen. Distribution through Musikkoperatørene. The recordings has been taking place in "The sound riot studio", Norway in january/february, once again produced by Thomas Fredriksen & Plywood.
The album is mastered at the cuttingroom in Stockholm - Sweden by Thomas Eberger.
Plywood..s follow up album "Vitesse" is scheduled for release through Reel noise records 18th of april 2008!! (Norway)
