I'm Bruce aged 23 from good old south London. I have a BA Hons in Furniture Design with an interest in Modern Architecture. Basically I design and make fine furniture by hand but my interests in design stretch a lot further.
I love cycling and after many months of hard training I was sponsored to ride the London to Brighton 06, the whole South downs bridle way and from London to Bath and back raising well over £1K for Cancer Research.
I used to work up the cinema which was a great laugh and helped with my slight film score addiction but now I’ve left Uni I’m working for Evans cycles which totally rocks. I have recently travelled to Australia, New Zealand and America the highlight being a 37m bungee off the Auckland Harbour Bridge.
I'm the proud owner of http://www.metricambition.com and hope to have it up and running some point soon with my design portfolio. Those of you from Uni might have seen my work in the end of year show and also showing at New Designers 06 in London.
Dreams of the near and distant future include a photography course in London and maybe something in modern art/sculpture. My dream is to ride Italy top to bottom and thinking strongly of jumping on a plane in 1-2 years back to New Zealand for a big cycling holiday and even to work the long ski season in the mountains and one of the many bike shops in Christchurch.
