hmmmm . . . what do I like?!?!? I guess I like cheerleading since I've been doing it for about 7 or 8 years. I am currently coaching the Leilehua High School cheer sqaud and . . . let's just say, it can be exhausting! I love playing basketball, even if I'm too outta shape to keep up. I just like sports . . . learning new ones is always fun even if I'm not quite sure what I'm doing. Hockey looks interesting, only because I saw the movie "Miracle."
I love reading a good mystery book and Harry Potter, yes, I know that's for kids . . . what can I say, maybe I'm still a kid at heart!?! I like spending time with my friends, even if we don't do very much. We just kinda kick back and chill at home and play games. I love going to the beach. I love spending time with my family and I love veggin' whenever I get the chance!
Yeah, I guess that's about it for now . . .
I'd like to meet:
I wanna meet people that are REAL! Someone that's not gonna be all sweet to my face, then turn around and talk shit about me. If you don't like me, then you don't like me, but at least get to know me before you start hatin'. If I give you my trust . . . keep it, otherwise you'll spend a lifetime trying to gain it back.
As far as relationships go, if you're with someone . . . DON'T try to hit on me! That just shows to me what a DOG you are and it makes you that much more UN attractive! Figure out what it is you want and do something about it . . . and tryin' to play the game is NOT an option. I'm an independent young woman and I like knowing that I can take care of myself - don't get me wrong . . . a little pampering now and then is good - but I do work for a reason. I want to be with someone that I can respect and someone that respects me back; someone that can be my best friend, because I believe that is the key to a happy marriage.
Music:
It depends on my mood. I would say I'm pretty ecletic . . . but I must say, I love my country :)
Movies:
my all time favorite movie is A WALK TO REMEMBER. It's predictable, but he, Shane, turns out to be the perfect man. I recommend all you men out there reading this to check out the movie and take some notes! If you wanna know what us girls really want.
Other good movies . . . LOVE AND BASKETBALL, BRING IT ON, BRING IT ON AGAIN, FINDING NEMO, LITTLE MERMAID, ALADDIN, all DISNEY MOVIES, FAST AND THE FURIOUS, HARRY POTTER, HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN 10 DAYS (I believe Tanya and I still hold the record for that . . . about 3 or 4 days, maybe or was it 10 days, hours?!) Okay, I have to add another movie to the list . . . THE NOTEBOOK
Television:
ALIAS -- Jennifer Garner rocks, not that I'm gay, but she's the ultimate wahine. I wish I could kick @$$ like she does!
AMERICAN IDOL -- even if Camille got the boot we still got one more Hawaii girl representin' . . . Jasmine. You go gurl!
I love my soap operas, but my most favorites are "Days of Our Lives" and "General Hospital" I can't get enough of the drama . . . Nicholas and Emily belong together . . .
Recently, I just got hooked on Charmed . . . yeah, I like the superficial stuff, maybe it's my way of living in lala land.
Books:
I love to read! I find it amazing where books can take you, especially since I can't really afford to travel right now . . . it gives me ideas of where I can travel in the future!! Reading can be an escape from my everyday, somewhat chaotic life . . . it can also be inspiring!
Heroes:
The people I look up to would be . . . my parents for always being there for me and raising me to know the difference between right and wrong. Although I may not always make the right decisions . . . I'm still learning. Thanks for being there for me! Both of my brothers . . . Trey and MacKenzie for overcoming obstacles and making the best of their lives! Grandama Hanson and Grandma Dolli, who both went through a lot and still came through, always such strong women. Tokuda, my mentor for guiding me into my future career, hopefully! Of course GOD for always being there for me even when I start losing faith and for always bringing me back! I forgot to add my buddy Darin for being a pal and taking care of me on those nights of drama or even when I just needed a friend to cruise with or watch a downloaded movie with!
