..Autumn-Joi AKA Seezinz was born on January 26th in Washington DC. She's been a P.G. County resident for all of her life. She attended Suitland High School in Forestville MD then went on to receive numerous track and field scholarships from schools ranging from Clemson to NCA&T. While in college, the entertainment bug bit her hard and she began to dabble in radio. She received her first internship with Donnie Simpson WPGC 95.5, BET's Video Soul host turned #1 radio morning show guy in DC! He allowed her to chat with him on-air about American Idol, which at the time was the first season. She was his "idol chatter" at the time. From there she moved down to Miami to engage in an internship under the tutelage of Shelby Rushin at 99 JAMZ. There is where she really got the chance to spread her wings. Jammin Derek B gave Autumn-Joi her shot at being a real live on-air personality! Everyone praised her fresh, sultry sound and thats when she knew what she wanted to do for the rest of her life!Upon her graduation from college, she immedietly received an overnight gig at 93.9 WKYS in DC. She quickly became DC's 'Favorite Girl' and literally turned the Overnight Sensation into an overnight sensation! Everyone in the Chocolate City knew the phrase 'It's the Overnight Sensation with Your Favorite Girl Autumn-Joi'! Her overnight show soon afforded her the opportunity to fill in for full-timers such as Jeanine Jones and EZ Street. Soon after, she received the 10am to 2pm slot every Sunday morning. She began hosting numerous clubs, fashion shows, birthday parties and if the money was right, weddings! Autumn-Joi was everywhere.After a 2 1/2 year stint with Radio One, Russ Parr helped her get the coveted 2pm to 6pm time slot at a station in Deleware. Autumn-Joi then decided to put love over her career and that's when the Flavor Of Love producer met up with her and as they say, the rest is history!Radio/Television are her passion so don't be surprised when you see or hear this young lady in a city near you!I must show love too all my DC people:
