Rhonda Bantsimba's career has spanned across storytelling, acting, public speaking, dance and singing.
For the past four years she has traveled around the United States and Canada singing with the acclaimed Detroit Women, a multi-award winning Blues and R&B group.
Ms. Bansimba's powerful vocals have been lauded by critics in such magazines as Blues Revue, Blues Wax, Living Blues and more. Her work with Detroit Women has been heard on airwaves across the States and around the globe -- France, Italy, Belgium, Australia, New Zealand, England and even Israel.
In addition to her vocal talents, Rhonda has been featured in theatrical productions of "For Colored Girls", "The Wiz", "The Colored Museum", "Zoo Man and the Sign", "Inhlanzi Ishelwe Amanzi", "Avenue X: The a cappella", and "River Dreams". Her emphasis has been to combine music with other art forms, creating new and exciting projects.
