Chris played trombone at grade school. He was composing songs while doing dishes or following his mother humming with the vacuum cleaner. At 13, he picked up the harmonica, because "you could put it in your pocket and sing with it," and formed: Blues For Breakfast & ESP. He shared Jerry Lee Lewis' piano bench, doing the harp on "Johnny Be Good." For years, he performed all over Europe doing solo gigs with his harp & guitar, a couple of movies and some studio works. In Paris, he played with Noel Redding during the Jimi Hendrix Revival in September 1990. Thereafter he joined Carol Miles (Bootsy Collins' cousin), played at the Palace, Hard Rock Café ...Chris met Mickey Finn in a Bar where he was playing and they rocked together leading soon to his contribution as the singer, harp player and co composer of The Blue Men.
