Planet Zoo

„Planet Zoo“ is founded in 2009 as members of the bands „Diversion“ and „Stiffkick“ allied. Against all prejudices and trends of the metal and rock scene the five boys are up their own alley.
The way to that is quite simple:
Just take some catchy lines and melodies, mix it with nu-metal shouts and fill it up with guitar power chords – that's the sound of Planet Zoo.
Club gigs and festival shows are the home of the boys having more than ten years stage experience. And it doesn't matter if it's a gig in a small town club or a show next to the wellknown rock heroes.
With full force straight ahead – that's the motto. Already in this year there should be the recordings for the first EP with the release in decembre.
Geboren aus der Asche der Bands „DIVERSION“ und „STIFFKICK“ wurde die Band „PLANET ZOO“ im Jahr 2009. Ohne jegliche Vorurteile und Anpassungen an die musikalische Erwartung der momentanen Rock- & Metalszene rocken die fünf Jungs los. Das Rezept ist relativ einfach:
Man nehme Ohrwurmmelodien und mehrstimmigen, harmonischen Gesang mit hämmernden Nu-Metalshouts und mischt das Ganze mit kraftvollen, voluminösen Gitarrenriffs – fertig ist der Sound von Planet Zoo.
Live kann man einiges erwarten, den nach über 10 Jahren Bühnenerfahrung, einiger supportshows namhafter Bands und einer Deutschland Tour ist eine unvergleichliche Bühnenpräsenz entwickelt worden.
Mit Vollgas voraus – das ist das Motto. Noch in diesem Jahr soll die erste DEMO EP eingespielt werden und im Dezember erscheinen. Desweiteren ist jetzt schon die Präsentation der Band auf der MUSIKMESSE 2010 bestätigt!

Ein Wahnsinnstempo, wenn man bedenkt wie lange es die Band gibt!
Im Moment wird fleißig an neuem Material geschrieben. Man darf gespannt sein auf den frischen Wind, den die Band an den Tag legt, den wer die Jungs aus Ihren alten Projekten kennt, weiß, dass sie alles versuchen, um noch einen Gang höher zu schalten.
