Its about time I updated this! So, I guess I should ramble on about myself then...Ok, so I am now working at Sarm West Studios in the Notting Hill area of London. I started here about a month ago so still getting to grips with the place but all my colleagues are ace and im enjoying working here. I have also moved house, am living in Maida Vale now with big Pete so thats all cool. This year has been pretty mental in the way of life, love and all the ups and downs associated with.Music, as it pretty much always has been since i started to think, is guiding me through life. Im busier than ever with projects in the studio, been gigging more this year, mainly as a bass player. actually playing at Global Gathering in Istanbul next week with Shapeshifters. Im writing loads of new material, dunno when its gonna be finished or if it ever will make it outside the confines of my hard drive....Im really feeling the mellower vibes with my own material. building on the acoustic elements more. I find it so free to just sing and play, no electricity, no operating system, just my hands and my heart. Working (should really be living ) in studios means im surrounded by hi-tech, 24 bit, oober resolution random access my brain hurts so much from the binary bashing broken beats im blown away by before breakfast everyday.on the flip side to the above, im also really really feeling the dark, dirty basslines and parkinson twitching beats that are flying around west london at the moment.so yes....im also working on a few remixes, one of which is gonna be put out sometime soon, it will feature Nicolette from Massive Attack so im really looking forward to getting that out.Still loving London, missing Leeds a little and would love to discover more of the world.Lets see what the future has in store.....
