The CWS Foundation for Shaken Baby Awareness was established in my son Christian's name, he is one of the FEW SURVIVORS of Shaken Baby Syndrome. Shaken Baby Syndrome effects everyone and could happen to anyone you know. Our hope is to reach out to mothers, fathers, caregivers, friends and families of infants and to help educate them on this rapidly growing from of CHILD ABUSE. I am lucky to have my son still with me but the pain that I felt has moved me to make a difference in the Shaken Baby Syndrome crusade. Our oganization is based in the Metro Atlanta area. During my time of confusion I couldn't find an organization here in this huge city that focused on prevention, education, support or gave resources for families effected by this horibble abuse.
