AudioPorn Records caused a massive stir in the global drum and bass scene when it launched in late 2007. With Ram Records prodigal son, Shimon ‘at the helm’, AudioPorn is proving to be an unstoppable force, delivering hit after hit to its ever-growing legion of loyal fans.Now AudioPorn proclaims itself Great Sage! Equal of Heaven and Keeper of the Peaches !
AudioPorn‘s mission to release the funkiest, sexiest and dirtiest drum n bass around has truly become a reality. AudioPorn‘s music has been regularly play-listed and played on radio the world over, as well as on BBC’s Radio 1. In 2008, the first AudioPorn label night took place at ‘The Shelter’ in Shanghai, China.
The first release was ‘Humanism’, a solo effort by Shimon. The next, 2 AudioPorn volumes were heavy-duty collaborations, with Shimon and Matrix’s ‘Slipstream’, and the colossal hit ‘The Smoker’ with Shimon and fellow Ram Raider, Sparfunk.
In the summer of 2008 Paris’ own Dirtyphonics’ joined Audioporn to bring their unique brand of dirty beats and debuted with their highly anticipated release, ‘French Fuck’. French Fuck was unleashed in November 2008 and gained them instant notoriety. With massive tunes like Quarks and the Secret The Dirtyphonics crew have become ‘the ones to watch‘ in 2009 and beyond and the boys are suitably keeping up the pace in the studio and with their incredible live show. ‘You wont believe your eyes! You wont believe your ears!’
AudioPorn’s bar will be raised higher with each release; the sounds will always be unique and ahead of their time. The quality and style of music we’ve come to expect from this dynamic label will make your heart beat to the drums, and the bass.
