BALLS Cabaret is the longest-running, weekly, midnight cabaret in the history of humankind (as far as we can tell.) Every Saturday night, host Leslie Ball opens the stage of the beautiful Southern Theater to artists of any and all disciplines, at any and levels of experience, to do what ever they want for up to seven minutes. Nothing is ever screened or censored. No one has any idea what's going to happen, not even Leslie.
Founded in 1991, BALLS has become a mainstay in the Twin Cities art scene. It is continually recognized as the best open mic by City Pages and was recently cited in the New York Times as a "must-see" while in the Twin Cities.
Every Saturday at midnight.
