About Me

they call me lola... i'm not a showgirl.

The name’s Laura, but most people call me Lola...in a nutshell, I am:: blunt, a grammatical elitist, a believer that everything happens for a reason, largely unapologetic, socially awkward (really, i raise it to an art form), ridiculously proud of my heritage (100% Italian-- by blood, not by trend), and, it’s been said, kind of a bitch.
My family is, hands down, the most important thing in the world to me. My (good) friends are a close second; and I’m luckier than most when it comes to good friends. I believe that without these people in my life, I would be nothing.
I pretty much just go to school and go to work. I rarely do anything of interest, and yet I always have a funny story. I’m funnier than any girl you’re likely to meet, and--lets face it-- I’m a little bit egotistical about it.
Generally speaking, I’m full of contradictions--it takes years to be able to say that you really know me. But those years? They’re worth it. I'm pretty much amazing. ♥ ♥ ♥
