What is there to say?
There are over six billion people on this earth. I'm not any different than any of them in this: I was born into this world as a sinner, just like everybody else... I am not any better, nor any worse than any one of them. I have the same potential for life and death, and the same ability to be lost or saved...
"Either sin is with you, lying on your shoulders, or it is lying on Christ, the Lamb of God. Now if it is lying on your back, you are lost; but if it is resting on Christ, you are free, and you will be saved. Now choose what you want."
-Martin Luther
With this information, how will I act?
Will I still try to live life like it belongs to me, or will I "lose it so that I may find it?" Will I surrender to become someone who is free, or snatch it and cling to it until it is eternally lost?
"There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'"
-C.S. Lewis
May we all give this much forethought...
Are you going to heaven?
I want to go to heaven.
