Although Jimmy was not born until after the death of The King, as a child, it was his first experience with music and first inspiration to pick up a guitar and sing. However this action did not occur until he was 14 years old. From that age he taught himself everything, taking no formal music lessons until college. He learned directly from the masters, Tony Iommi, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, and countless other musicians. However his musical influences reach further than rock and metal. He listens and attempts to incorporate everything from Classic R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, and anything else he can wrap his ears around, just not country. Playing in bands and with countless other musicians over the past years, as well as graduating with a music degree, has honed Jimmy’s songwriting, musicianship, recording, and production skills. All of his songs are written, recorded and produced by him. All in all he is a man that wears many hats which allows his unique personality and musicianship to shine through in his music. His current musical endeavor, Faversham’s Attic, is a perfect example of this.
