Big Whiskey draws itself from the gritty screams of southern soul, the electricity of Chicago Blues, and riff driven garage rock. From the howls of frontman Ryan Barth, to the Pelvis gyrations of guitarist Craig Miroballi, Big Whiskey has made it abundantly clear that they want you to shake your ass off, or die trying. With sensitive tracks like, “No heartbeat between your legs” Big Whiskey is about as subtle as a gang bang, and it’s five members don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon. Five boys from the southside that work hard to answer those questions you’ve always got on your mind. “What if the Yardbirds had more balls?”, “What if Link Wray hadn’t lost that lung in Korea?” A melting pot of outdated music from the 50's, 60's, and 70's and you’ve got something of a musical bastard child Tearing it up whenever it can, and wherever it goes. Frontman Ryan Barth’s Screams, Yells, Growls, and Shouts form the backbone for what is a Dirty sound. Bass pounds from Eric Scheidt, mixed with muddy tones from Scott Armstrong's stratocaster, Craig Miroballi’s trashy gain, and Mark Paris’s beats marry it together.
