BassMan

About Me

ass-Man was born in Los Angeles, California. He has been involved in music for a very long time. Coming from a musically inclined family, he was exposed to music at a very young age. Starting at age 8 on piano, advancing to guitar at 11 and finally discovering his calling with electric bass at age 12. His pulsating, thunderous bass lines and steady background vocals play a vital part in the overall sound of any band he is involved with.
From 1976 to 1983 Bass-Man was the bass player for the Los Angeles area rock band Stormer. In 1978 he received a flattering offer from Kevin DuBrow of Quiet Riot to join as the groups bassist, an offer he humbly declined due to his dedication to his involvement with Stormer. Bass-Man has shared the stage, billing and/or jammed with such notable musicians as Coco Montoya (John Mayall's Bluesbreakers), Buddy Miles, Donna Summer, Motley Crüe, Van Halen, Dokken (The Boyz), Metallica, Spirit, Armored Saint, Autograph, Quiet Riot (w/Randy Rhoads), Tracy G (DIO), Ratt, Jimmy Espinosa (Thee Midniters), Tony Franklin (The Firm), Audie Desbrow (Great White)..
A versatile and seasoned musician, he plays: electric bass, piano, guitar, stand-up bass and sings lead and back-up vocals.
