My Name is Shyloh and I am a SURVIVOR. I am a 10 year old mixed breed Australian Shepherd/Coyote. I may look like a normal dog to you but at the age of 4, I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Mega-Esophagus, after a routine dental cleaning, which my mom was told that the dental cleaning would prolong my healthy life. Instead, it almost killed me.My first year of Mega-E was pure hell. None of the treatment that the they now have available for a dog with Mega-E would work for me, and if you talk to many others it doesn't work well for them either.Gratefully after my year of hell I was able to find a vet who didn't go by new technology and actually has not only helped in prolonging my life but has made my condition a lot more comfortable to deal with.If you have any questions,or would like to know what kind of medicines I am currently on please feel free to ask me, I am always willing to help people understand and help my fellow dogs.
