About Me

Hi I'm Katie and I am very happily married to the man of my dreams, my best friend and high school sweetheart, Scott. We have a beautiful 4 year old daughter named Keana. She is truly our gift from God. She has an unknown Cogenital Muscular Dystrophy. She is truly my inspiration to be a better person. She is your basic normal 4 year old, she just has difficulties getting around. She has the greatest sense of humor and is wicked smart!! She has managed to adapt and completely amazes me. I am thankful everyday for my precious gift!!I am currently a long term substitute teacher for a 4th/5th grade Autistic Class. I absolutely love my job. The kids are so great!!! As of next year, this class will be officially mine. I am super excited and can't wait to start this awesome adventure.After working so much with these children I am looking forward to one day getting my Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. I feel like it is something that truly speaks to my heart and I would look forward to pursuing. Or at least become a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst it all depends on time and cost of course.We live in Mayport, Florida at the Naval Station. That's right my man's a sailor! My Interests

Sewing, Painting, Crafting, Design and Party Planning.Since I have Pcos...this is a very important cause to me...it's been long enough that it's been ignored and written off as being all in a woman's head or big booty, depending on the doctor you talk to!! I'm not bitter LOLBut since I started my new medication I've lost an additional 40 pounds!! So to date I am down 95 pounds and have just 35 more to go!!! I know I can do it just need to get my butt in gear ")

Bored out of my mind!!

Well Scott's been gone for almost 2 weeks. I'm doing okay and so is Keana. I am just bored out of my mind once Keana is asleep. You can only watch so much TV and clean the house so many times!!! AHHHH...
