The Cheap Suits

About Me

Wearing suits and working in the insurance industry doesn't keep these 3 gentlemen from showing their true rock n roll colors. This power trio kicks out sounds from the 60s through the 2000's, from Clapton and the Stones through Radiohead and the Strokes - anything that rocks will find its way into the set list. The guys would often talk about music in the office and it was suggested that they should get together and play a few songs for their colleagues at the summer picnic. The gig went off without a hitch and Lou, Kevin and Lou had way too much fun to stop there. They have since hit the Philadelphia and Jersey shore scene and have launched themselves into a busy 2006.Bassist/Keyboardist Lou P. brings his musical expertise and experience in former bands where he opened up for such acts as the Hooters and Cinderella. A veritable musical genius, Lou P.'s first gig was as a 6 year old playing the accordion on the Al Alberts Showcase television program (no worries, the accordion makes no appearances these days). Veteran drummer Lou B. keeps the band in time and always entertained with stories of his days on the New York scene. His previous bands were regulars at CBGBs and Maxs Kansas City and he even ran in the same crowd as the Ramones and Blondie. Guitarist Kevin B. adds energy, cutting chords and nasty licks on his Fender Strat. Kevin got his start on acoustic guitar and banjo, but the persistence of Lou and Lou turned this one time folk musician into an electric guitar zealot. Combined, the three have stripped down rock to its cutting edge core and offer a lean and energetic performance.
